Marine Electrician - $25-$29/HR. This position is a direct hire - full-time position. Integrity Trade Services is hiring Marine Electricians/Service Technicians in Houston, TX. These are DIRECT HIRE positions. Marine, motor repair, inspection and troubleshooting motor control systems, maintenance, and power transformers experience is strongly preferred. Our customer is expanding in the locations listed below and is looking for long term team members who want to be an integral part of their growing business where each member has a direct contribution on the direction they take as a company.
Electrician/Service Technician Responsibilities
Troubleshooting basic electrical circuitsMust know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ meggerTerminate most common types of electrical equipmentRead one line drawingsPerform routine maintenance and repairs to pumpsSupervise and train tech level 3Assist in managing projects as assignedOn-call for a (7) seven day periodTravel occasionally for the company to work at other locationsFollow all company safety and operational policiesAny other duties as needed or directed by management as it relates to customer’s operationsOur customer is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week operation and overtime is requiredElectrician/ Service Technician Qualifications
Physical
Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distancesAbility to work in any and all adverse weather conditionAbility to climb ladders, stairs and gangways up to 25 feet in heightAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of timeAbility to operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous mannerEducation High School diploma or equivalent
